Bernavas finished bathing and quickly moved to dry himself. He could be allowed a longer soak, but there was no reason to linger. Carrie would be expecting him, and it wasn't as if he still needed the dedicated scrubs of his past.

His body was clean, his hair was clean, and he was ready to return to Carrie's side.

Quickly, he dried himself, dressing without fuss from what he'd brought with him. And then rubbed his hair with the towel again and combed it once.
