Lucifer doesn't ask Azazel about the faraway look in in his eyes as he sits nearby, not at all reading over the report in his hands, nor the soft shiver and rustle of feathers a moment later as he snaps himself out of it. He hasn't even realized that Lucifer has glanced up from his book.

'Jealous' isn't the right word but Lucifer isn't going to waste time finding the right one from his endless collection. Not when Azazel is right there and obviously needs something, if only a distraction.

"Azazel."
