Rocbouquet tore through the pack of monsters without even reaching for her sword.

There was nothing. No beautiful wings, no shimmer, no power. She had no need for anything else; she did not need hooves or humps or a sticky tongue.

"Rocbouquet, don't get too far ahead!" Albert ran up beside her not long after the last beast had fallen.

"I'm fine," she said, giving him an almost-charming little smile.

"This time. But I don't want to have to explain to Noel..."

Rocbouquet sighed. Albert had her there.

She'd stay with the group.
